Those still glued to Splatoon 3 will want to check out Inkopolis Plaza and Inkopolis Square soon: your favorite hosts are sporting some new looks for the summer season. As revealed on the official Splatoon Twitter account, both the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook will have new summer attire during the season’s Splatfests. Not to be left out, the Deep Cut trio will also have new digs, making things bright and colorful for the hottest season.
To view the Squid Sisters, players will need to own the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass as it includes Inkopolis Plaza. The same goes for Off the Hook, who only perform during Splatfests in Inkopolis Square. While that is sort of a bummer for anyone still rocking the base game, Splatoon 3’s “Side Order” DLC is quite good. It practically feels like a new game unto itself, so it’s definitely worth picking up if you want more single-player goodness.
There are no dates for when these tropical outfits will start appearing as the previous Splatfest just happened a few weeks back. Whenever June’s event is announced, you’ll be able to catch your favorite pop idol group donning some new threads.
