Nintendo fans in the know likely all have visiting one of the company’s few dedicated stores as a bucket list destination. Thankfully, starting next year it looks like fans on the West Coast will have a much easier way to make it happen.

Nintendo has announced plans to open Nintendo San Francisco (officially styled as Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO) in the city’s Union Square. Already a hub for plenty of retailers, the possibilities for game launch events and character meet and greets will fit right in. Nintendo SF will join Nintendo New York as a US shopping destination, as well as the trio of Japanese stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto; when it opens in 2025.
