After years of speculation we finally have word from Nintendo’s President Furukawa that the company is working on a successor to the Nintendo Switch.
The news comes in the form of a very simple tweet that confirms the new hardware will be announced within the fiscal year ending March, 2025.

We also get confirmation of a Nintendo Direct planned for this June which will focus on Switch games releasing in 2024, where there won’t be any mention of the Switch successor. Best to temper those expectations now, we suppose!
