If you’re an Animal Crossing fan, you’ll know that these past couple of years have been quite mellow for the franchise. With over two years having passed since any new content was introduced, it’s fair to say that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is pretty much done at this point. That being said, given the nature of the series, there’s still plenty to do in the game. And if even that isn’t quite enough, there’s always the official LEGO sets. Now’s a good time to get into them too, as two new sets have been announced for release later this year!

Set for release on August 1st , these two sets are themed around K.K. Slider’s concert and Dodo Airlines. The first set features the Resident Services building and a variety of supporting elements to create the scene of K.K. Slider holding a concert. This includes minifigures of Isabelle, Audie, and K.K. himself, alongside a tree, van, ice cream stand, and a small stage for the performance. The Dodo Airlines set is pretty straightforward, coming with the building itself, an airplane, a small section of rocky beach, and minifigures of Tangy and Wilbur.

First Look – Animal Crossing LEGO box-art revealed

While these sets are very nice, they’re not cheap. The Dodo Airlines set costs $39.99 and the K.K. Slider concert set is a whopping $79.99. Of course, if you’re a fan of LEGO, you’re used to these sorts of price tags. If you’re interested in these two and haven’t seen the other five sets in the series, you might want to take a look at those as well!
