G-MODE has slowly but surely been reviving its back catalog of games that were once exclusive to Japanese feature phones, including fairly big names. The latest? The Atlus developed Persona 3 prequel, Aigis: The First Mission.
The game is an action RPG set in 1999, ten years before the events of Persona 3 itself. You play as Aigis, the robotic shadow-killer, and explore the Kirijo Ergonomics Institute on Yakushima island.
Unfortunately the game released only in Japan back in 2007 and this new port won’t give the game an English translation. Nevertheless, it’s sure to make this unique piece of Persona history more easily playable to fans when it launches for Switch and PC “soon”.
