It’s finally time — Princess Peach: Showtime! has officially released! Given that this is the first time in almost 20 years that the princess has been the protagonist of a game, it’s only natural to want to celebrate. If that’s what you’re thinking right now, then you and Nintendo are like-minded, as in commemoration of the release of Princess Peach: Showtime! a collection of Nintendo Switch Online icons have been made available.
The first wave of the icons went live yesterday, and they will be available until March 28th at 5:59 p.m. PT. There will be a total of four waves, each running for a week and cycling out at the same time each Thursday. The first wave available now includes ten character elements, five backgrounds, and four frames. The three following waves will likely have similar numbers, which means lots of icon potential.
If you’re looking to start a collection or just want to see what options are available, make sure to check back each week and see what gets added! There will certainly be plenty of options available by the end of the four-week period, and as with most Nintendo Switch Online icons, whether or not they will ever return is entirely unknown. Might be best not to take a chance if you’re on the fence!
