With it now having been over a month since the holidays, the video game market has certainly slowed down and taken a breather. Fortunately for those still in the market for some of the earlier Nintendo Switch games, Nintendo’s Jump-start January Sale is now live! The sale features a wide variety of first, second, and third-party games, and most of them are going for at least 30% off.
The best games in Nintendo’s Jump-start January Sale
With a huge selection of games on sale, there’s more likely than not going to be at least something interesting for everyone. That being said, some of the best games that feature significant discounts for this sale are Animal Crossing: New Horizons (30% off, bringing it down to $41.99), Splatoon 3 (30% off, bringing it down to $41.99), Sea of Stars (20% off, bringing it down to$27.99), and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (33% off, bringing it down to $39.99), to name just a few. The DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Splatoon 3 are also discounted as part of the sale.
The best deals in Nintendo’s Jump-start January Sale
While most of the first-party titles are marked down 30%, a handful of other titles have much more substantial reductions. Most of the indie titles feature discounts of at least 50%, with many up to 70% or 80%. Most of the LEGO games also feature great deals upwards of 70% off. Lastly, many of the notable Bethesda entries such as the DOOM and Elder Scrolls series are available for far less than their full price.
