Hold on this can’t be right… it’s 2024 and I’m still writing about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board events?
Yes, as previously announced we’re about to see brand new Spirits arrive in Smash Ultimate! The focus this time is on newer Switch titles relevant to Ultimate, with four in particular being spotlighted.
For five days starting 1/11, new spirits from various series' latest titles, such as The Legend of #Zelda: #TearsOfTheKingdom and #Splatoon3, will be making their way to the #SmashBrosUltimate Spirit Board! Defeat them in battle to earn more gold than usual. pic.twitter.com/OlLHn3C1sm

What new spirits are coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?
- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3
- Splatoon 3
- Pikmin 4
We can see TotK’s Rauru, the soon to be amiibo’d Noah and Mio, all three members of Deep Cut, and the default Rescue Corps. member of Pikmin 4 – perched atop Oatchi of course.
This will be the first of four new waves of Spirits, and will last for five days starting January 11th. Expect them to drop this Thursday night, and (again, can’t believe I still get to say this) look forward to more Smash Ultimate news soon!
