It’s been almost seven years since the Nintendo Switch first hit the shelves in March 2017. As such, rumors and leaks have been stirring about what the next console will be, when it will release, and what will be on it. One particularly interesting leak to surface says that the Bayonetta Trilogy will receive a bundle with the upcoming “Switch 2.”
The original mention of this comes from a tweet by @NWeedle, which states that the new console will have a bundle that has all three Bayonetta games included. The leak states that the bundle in question will feature visual and performance enhancements, including HDR. The tweet also touches on backwards compatibility, which seems to imply that copies of Bayonetta 1, 2, and 3 from the Nintendo Switch should be eligible for these improvements as well.

Given the nature of leaks, it is always important to take information like this with a grain of salt. It’s all too easy to take this information entirely at face value, and while it’s great to look forward to something, it’s probably best to wait for official confirmation before you get too excited. If this does end up coming to fruition though, it will definitely be exciting for Bayonetta fans and anyone looking to become one!
