With Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s last DLC released, many assumed that the story was finally finished; however, it seems that Game Freak has one last trick up their sleeves. Today the official Pokémon YouTube channel released a teaser for an epilogue that will wrap up the story once and for all.
Set for release on January 11th of next year, the epilogue will take place in Kitakami and feature Nemona, Arven, and Penny venturing to the region for the first time. Many found it strange that they didn’t accompany the player in the first place, but better late than never! It seems that the epilogue will focus on the mysterious peach doll that can be found in Kitakami, and likely relates to the Loyal Three in some way.
The epilogue will likely be fairly short and serve mostly just to wrap up the story of Paldea, Kitakami, and Blueberry Academy in a nice bow. It will require that the player have completed the main story as well as the stories of The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk, so be sure to be ready!
