Kirby has had various minigames over the years attached to his standard adventures and one of the first was the crane game that made its debut in Kirby’s Adventure for the NES. Now things are coming full circle with Bandai Namco releasing a fresh wave of merchandise celebrating “Kirby’s Toki-Meki Crane Fever”.

The aesthetic of the new merch wave is very ’80s and ’90s inspired, with plenty of squiggles and neon lights. Kirby and Waddle Dee are even accented with blocky, pixelated colors throughout their designs.

As for what’s included, there are the typical plushes and figures alongside cute pouches, a clock, and even a miniature replica of a crane game.

The Kirby Crane Game wave of merchandise will be available in Japan via lottery until January 21st, 2024.
