It’s been less than a week since Super Mario RPG hit store shelves, and in that time, some players have experienced a progress-blocking bug where Paratroopas do not appear in Land’s End after the Paratroopa event in Monstro Town. Luckily, however, the bug has a workaround, and Nintendo has officially detailed it on their support website, with reassurance that a full fix is coming in a software patch in December. The full workaround is detailed below:
Players who encounter this bug only need to go the Mushroom Kingdom and then return to Land’s End again, and the Paratroopas should appear. Nintendo notes that you do not need to go inside the castle in Mushroom Kingdom, only the town around it. They also confirm that it’s okay to use the map to travel to and from the Mushroom Kingdom when using this workaround.
