Today Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 has hit physical and digital storefronts across multiple platforms, including the Switch, meaning the long-running Konami series has finally returned to a Nintendo console over a decade after the port of Metal Gear Solid 3 to the 3DS.

That’s not what we’re here to talk about today, though. UK-based Numskull Designs have announced a new, very limited piece of Metal Gear merch – Shadow Moses Cologne.

The cologne is inspired by Shadow Moses Island, the snowy setting of the original Metal Gear Solid. To achieve this the creators have used aromatic hints of myrrh, fir balsam and patchouli with undertones of oakmoss, cedarwood, amber, and musk.

The Metal Gear Solid cologne will cost £39.99 although it can only ship to a select few countries, namely:

United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
