Tokyo Game Show is currently well underway in Japan, bringing with it plenty of playable demos and announcements. One of these came during Xbox’s showcase, though it was later confirmed for other platforms including the Nintendo Switch – Altheia: The Wrath of Aferi.
Developed by Italian studio Marslit Games, Altheia is a fantasy adventure following the duo Lili and Sadi as they fight to save their home from an enigmatic corrupting void. As for its inspirations, it pulls from the cinematic worlds of Studio Ghibli and Studio Chizu while the puzzle-filled dungeons take cues from The Legend of Zelda. Not bad places to look for ideas!
