Next month Arc System Works is bringing the 2016 3DS title River City: Rival Showdown to modern platforms, adding a few extra bells and whistles along the way.
It’ll feature familiar RPG elements crossed with beat ’em up action with retro 2D sprites battling their way across 3D environments. If that has you curious, check out the latest five minute long gameplay overview trailer below!
As for what the new port includes, it’ll have nicer visuals, tightened controls, and online play capability. On top of this the game also includes an updated version of the 2D fighter, Double Dragon Duel.
River City: Rival Showdown launches for the Switch, PlayStation, and PC next month on October 12th.
