The Sonic Speed Cafe opened as a pop up store in San Diego in mid-July, serving Chili Dogs and other food items alongside hosting events in conjunction with San Diego Comic Con. While the store was slated to close on August 20th, the organizers have stated it will be extending its stay through the end of the month, to August 31st.

What’s more, the store will hold special acoustic performances from Sonic Symphony on Friday, August 18th. The first will begin at 11:30am PT and feature select members of the Symphony, including creator and producer Shota Nakama. Be sure to check out the cafe that day if you want to hear some mellow Sonic tunes!
