The 2023 Pokémon World Championships kicks off this weekend in Yokohama, Japan, bringing top level competition across all kinds of Pokémon-related media. And the festivities are being kicked off in the best way possible: with a pack of dancing Pikachu.

Part of a summer festival being held to celebrate the Yokohama championships, the dance parade is one of multiple fun activities like Magikarp fishing and Poké Ball tossing alongside other performances like a Bon dance. The four and a half minute clip is a pretty big serving of Pikachu dance action, and the coordination and skill on display is honestly impressive. Definitely worth checking out if you have the time!

The 2023 Pokémon World Championships take place in Yokohama from tomorrow, August 11th through Sunday, August 13th.
