As a grand and full-chested “thank you,” Sega has announced Fast Friends Forever: a new initiative of special events that celebrates the Sonic fan community and the values the blue blur brings to our lives. The project was announced alongside a “lifestyle” brand trailer:
Parts of the initiative include the new Sonic Legos, the Sonic Symphony World Tour, a Sonic themed pop-up restaurant in San Diego (open through August 20th), a 15-part digital comic from fanartists (starting today), and TailsTube Season 2. Hopefully this means even more projects starring our favorite hedgehog and his friends coming this year. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on any more announcements.
