EVO 2023 was held this past weekend, which brought with it a whole cavalcade of fighting game updates and announcements. While most were for existing games’ DLC, we did get one piece of exciting brand new news – a new entry in French Bread’s Under Night In-Birth series, Under Night In-Birth II [Sys:Celes].
This is technically the seventh title in the series, this is the first to have a number in the title, and will bring the story of Under Night to a climax. It’s confirmed to have rollback netcode for smoother online matches, along with sharpened visuals, redesigned UI, brand new mechanics and movesets, and of course brand new characters.
We’ll be sure to report more additions and news for the game as it becomes available. Under Night In-Birth II [Sys:Celes] releases in 2024.
