Can a brick run fast? The age old philosophical quandary is about to be answered for good with the advent of Lego Sonic the Hedgehog sets. No longer tied to Lego Dimensions or premium sets, there are five whole playsets to toy around with, featuring Sonic and his pals besot against Dr. Eggman.

The sets in question are:
- Sonic’s Green Hill Zone Loop Challenge ($99.99): An iconic Green Hill loopdeloop stands between Sonic, Amy, and helplessly trapped animals. Use the speed sphere to zoom through, collect rings, and topple Dr. Eggman’s mech to free the poor critters.
- Sonic vs. Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot ($59.99): Based off the iconic final boss of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, you’ll have Sonic blast into Dr. Eggman’s mech in this action set.
- Amy’s Animal Island Rescue ($49.99): Amy and Tails can set traps and play with animal friends in this set full of nooks and crannies.
- Tails’ Workshop and Tornado Plane ($39.99): This little workshop comes outfitted with Tails’ classic plane and bits and bobs around the workshop to tinker with
- Sonic’s Speed Sphere Challenge ($34.99): Try out the unique speed sphere in this simple slice of Green Hill Zone goodness.
