The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Championship Cup 2023 was hosted at PAX East back in March, hosting top MK8 players who qualified for the grand title. Among them was Tris of GameXplain, who got a special prize for participating – a rare Mario Kart-themed Switch Pro Controller.
The controller sports a nice fuschia-purple gradient of vehicular knickknacks on the front and a multicolored array of racers, karts, and sponsors on the back. It’s a good deal nicer than most other Pro Controllers out there, which makes sense given its very limited distribution: there are presumably only 12 in the world.
We expect one to sell for millions in thirty years (assuming money still exists then). Start saving up now!
