Another side scrolling action RPG is on the way to Switch but what sets this one apart is a heavy emphasis on Chinese culture and mythology.

Eastern Exorcist first launched in early access for the PC back in 2020 but tomorrow, June 8th, it’ll finally head to the PlayStation 4 and Switch. In the game you can expect to guide your hand-drawn exorcist through a sidescrolling world filled with action gameplay, where everything looks like a Chinese ink painting. Even the cutscenes are inspired by Chinese Opera!

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
