Last night’s Marvelous Game Showcase featured not one but two announcements from the world of Rune Factory as well as a theme for both – “East and West”.

The first game shown at the 20:50 minute mark in the video below is Rune Factory: Project Dragon. This spin-off will take place in the oft-talked about eastern country mentioned in earlier games in the series and will have a much more Japanese-inspired aesthetic, though the developers have been quick to note that familiar elements like romance and farming will be incorporated.

The second game was revealed immediately afterward and is noneother than Rune Factory 6. Not much was shared about this one, other than it taking place in the western continent of Adonea.

Both of these games are “diligently under development” with unconfirmed platforms and we’ll be sure to bring you more updates as they’re shared.
