Last week we reported on the news that Pokémon HOME would be getting updated to Scarlet and Violet on May 23/24 (depending on your region). It turns out that was a mistake, as The Pokémon Company has released a small statement confirming that the update will be arriving later at an undetermined date.

The news we did get did at least provide us with some details – such as hidden ability starters being distributed to those who connect the games – but we’ll just have to wait for the official new release date to experience it for ourselves.
