Sad news for strategy game and comic book fans – Marvel’s Midnight Suns, a tactical RPG developed by XCOM and Civilization’s Firaxis Games, is no longer coming to Switch. The announcement was tucked away in an update on the PS4 and Xbox One digital versions, releasing May 11th:
…Note that a Nintendo Switch version of Marvel’s Midnight Suns is no longer planned.
Considering it’s been almost two years since the game was revealed and announced for the platform, it’s a disappointing end to a long period of anticipation, though it’s not as if Switch owners are bereft of options elsewhere. Midnight Suns is out on PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X/S right now, and will be out on PS4 and Xbox One in just a few days.
