The long march to Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is almost over. Nintendo’s been upping their efforts to showcase the game, with a nearly six minute overview dropping recently. That’s all well and good, but as a longtime fan of the series I’m more into this latest video instead.
Focusing in on the three main Orange Star COs of the series’ GBA heyday, it’s a treat to see these characters animated and voiced in this new style two decades since their debut. Andy, Max, and Sami might all be fairly straightforward Commanding Officers; but they’ll remain reliable choices on the battlefield even as you gain access to other armies.
Look forward to putting their specialties to the test when Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot camp launches on April 21st.
