Tetris 99 is on a roll, following up on its recent Fire Emblem Engage themed Maximus Cup with something a little softer. Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe brought a Wii-era favorite back on Switch, and now it’s getting it’s own time to shine on the puzzle royale stage!
As is the standard, by playing during the event period (Tetris 99’s 33rd Maximus Cup in fact) you’ll gain points. By reaching 100 points, you’ll permanently unlock the otherwise event exclusive theme for this Dream Land delight. Playing well and outlasting other Tetris fans is the only way you can have a screen covered in Magolor, which is a prize worth chasing for sure.
Look forward to stacking some starry blocks all weekend long once the Tetris 99/Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Maximus Cup begins on April 21st at 12 a.m. PT. You’ll have through the following Monday, April 24th, to hit that100 point mark!
