Way back in 2013, developer Crackshell tried their hand at a Diablo-style action RPG on PC with Hammerwatch, before getting ported to consoles in 2017. Now, six years later, we’re getting a full-fledged sequel and it’s set to take the adventure beyond the confines of castle Hammerwatch.

Hammerwatch II will feature the same frenetic action and class-based gameplay of its predecessor but expands to an open-world. Co-op is included for up to four players, too, letting you venture forth with friends.

Check out the debut trailer below:

Hammerwatch II is set to launch for Switch, but a release date has yet to be confirmed. A physical “The Chronicles Edition” will also be made available which bundles the game with its predecessor and an exclusive Anniversary Pack DLC.
