We love our 3DSes – they’re compact, light, and oozing with fun features. But sometimes we wish they were 2000% bigger and basically like sit-down arcade machines. Fortunately, user BigRig Creates is here to fulfill our wanton desires, crafting an absolutely ginormous 3DS with fully functional buttons, a touchscreen, and even a 3D display for the top portion:
You can see the whole process of creation in the above video, from concept to each individual element to finally how the whole thing actually feels to use. It’s an achievement of gargantuan proportions, and the Circle Pad implementation is particularly simple and funny. Check it all out if you have a moment!
