While the last Nintendo Direct featured two big announcements from Level-5 for returning franchises, Layton and Fantasy Life, the company also had an all-new IP revealed during the event. Decapolice looks set to be a unique merging of detective drama with turn-based combat, and if you were intrigued you’re in luck as two new trailers have been released.
While the first covers a few of the same scenes seen earlier, we get multiple character reveals and an even better look at the game’s combat mechanics. In one instance, we see the party rescue a hostage by lowering a Negotiation gauge.
For the second trailer, we get an even deeper dive into the gameplay.
Decapolice is expected to release worldwide later this year.
