A new partnership has been announced between clothing brand Uniqlo and the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and it’s set to give a variety of classic games the spotlight.

Included in the new collection are some of the usual retro video game juggernauts: Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Tetris. Each of these are represented by classic sprites, and have cheeky references to the letters MoMA.

It’s the other two which are most interesting, though. Bandai Namco’s classically weird Katamari Damacy gets an adorably pastel design, while SimCity is a screenshot of the iconic PC original. Sadly that means the SNES version’s Dr. Wright isn’t here, but it’s still a nostalgic throwback.

The MoMA/Uniqlo shirt collab will be available in-store and online in early March.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
