Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe is coming out in only a few weeks, but it appears that all of its secrets may not have been revealed. Leaked box art for the game shows a small corner of the back dedicated to the “Magolor Epilogue” with the attached explainer “Brave an extra quest after the ending.”
It’s hard to make out the details of the attached pics, though Magolor is at least in a very different outfit from the main game. The Kirby series has a tradition of adding “extra modes” involving going through the game again with a character besides the pink puffball, such as Meta Knightmare in Nightmare in Dreamland, Meta Knightmare Ultra in Super Star Ultra, and Dededetour in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. Though the word “Epilogue” may suggest it’s in fact a brand-new set of levels. We won’t know until further clarification.
