It took a long time for Sega and Atlus to bring Persona 5 to platforms beyond the PlayStation but that wait doesn’t appear to have dulled the excitement.

In a recent tweet, Atlus has confirmed that the new release of Persona 5 Royal has sold over 1 million units since its launch on October 21st. This incorporates the Switch, Xbox platforms, PlayStation 5, and PC.

In total this bumps Persona 5 Royal’s overall sales past the 3 million units sold mark.

We’ll just have to wait and see if Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden see similar success when they hit modern platforms on January 19th, 2023.
