It hasn’t been even 24 hours since the second Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer dropped, and we’ve already got more footage on hand – with Dutch subtitles, of all things. (The video is quite quiet, as a heads up.)
Apparently found on Twitch, the trailer appears to show Mario’s first foray into the Mushroom Kingdom, complete with Toads, coin blocks, and lots of pipes. Most of the jokes are classic fish out of water antics, though the brief footage really makes it sink in that Chris Pratt’s Mario voice is just his normal voice. You can barely even hear any different inflection.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie launches April 7th, 2023.
