Masahiro Sakurai has been thoroughly entertaining us with behind-the-scenes game development videos over the past few months since launching his new YouTube channel. In his latest upload, however, the beloved creator of the Super Smash Bros. and Kirby series has something very different to share.
Fukura, or Fukurashi as she is lovingly called, is Sakurai’s adorable pet cat. You can catch her chilling in all manner of places, posing cheekily, and even tangling with a giant Kirby plush in a wonderful image slideshow. Best of all, you can see also see clips of Fukurashi in her kitten days. Look at those big, beautiful eyes!
Considering all the stress that Sakurai has endured while developing games in the past, it’s great to see that he now has a furry friend to help him unwind. With that, we would like to thank the “queen of the household” for her service in today’s video, and we wish her all the pets and treats she deserves.
