As promised, Pikmin Bloom’s 1st anniversary event has begun its crossover with Pikmin 3 Deluxe, which is set to close out the rest of November!

Starting today, November 15th, you’ll see three consecutive challenges that’ll unlock badges featuring Pikmin 3 Deluxe’s trio of heroes – Alph, Brittany, and Charlie. These will be step-based and incremently get higher with each stage – though thankfully the event will run through December 9th!

The second part of the event will kick off on November 28th and have another three challenges, this time unlocking Gold Seedlings featuring all-new “Koppaite Space Suit” Decor Pikmin that’ll come in blue, red, and yellow varieties. Unfortunately we haven’t gotten a peek at what they’ll look like just yet, but we can imagine they’ll be based on the aforementioned protagonists! This will also last through December 9th, though earned Gold Seedlings can still be planted after the conclusion of the event.

Finally, those with linked My Nintendo accounts who also have Pikmin 3 Deluxe save data on their Switch (including from the Game Trial version) will unlock an Onion-style backpack for free in Bloom!

You can start working towards your step goals in Pikmin Bloom from today.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
