The It’s Kirby Time stories have been a delight, letting the pink puffball’s wholesomeness shine through in illustrated mini-narratives. This newest one, called Together With Kirby, shows what happens when a new friend pops up!… and what happens when it’s time to say goodbye.
As per usual there are nods to the games both overt and sly. Who’d have thought we’d see Mr. Bright again in one of these of all places, or that Kirby’s awarded Crystal Shard would be hanging in his house? Still, the real star here is the budding bond between Kirby and a surprising little sprout. Sometimes it’s the friends you least expect that really grow on you.
