While the Pokémon Trading Card Game may have a strong foothold in the world of physical card sales and tournaments, it doesn’t quite have the digital reach of games like Hearthstone and Legends of Runeterra. The Pokémon Company is looking to change that with Pokémon TCG Live, which is currently in a closed beta.

The beta is now expanding to twelve new regions:

  • Australia
  • Canada
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • France
  • Germany
  • Italy
  • Mexico
  • The Netherlands
  • New Zealand
  • Norway
  • Sweden

Pokémon TCG Live is an evolution of Pokémon TCG Online, with an avatar system and daily challenges. The game also allows for players to enter card codes found in select physical Pokémon TCG products, so cards can be earned in-game and along with real world cards.

No word yet on when the game will come to more territories, but we’ll keep you updated.
