Yesterday, a lone McDonald’s worker appeared to leak the official render for the Super Mario Bros. movie online. While it certainly looked legit, it was, relatively speaking, a blip on the radar — but now there’s a whole torrent, as the render in high quality has now leaked online, along with a host of other promotional materials showing the look of the movie.

The main source of the leak does indeed appear to be McDonald’s, with the “Kids Surprise & Delight Program,” which shows the official Mario render alongside a calendar for the movie. (There’s other merch on the cover too, but nothing else pertaining to the Mario movie.) In the calendar we can also spot renders for Toad and Peach — Toad was revealed on the teaser poster the other day, but the glimpse of Peach and her shiny rendered blonde hair is new. Her crossed arms and pursed lips are very… “animated kids movie poster pose,” I’ll say that much. We also see the logo, where “Mario Bros.” is in blocky colorful letters and “The Super … Movie” is in sleek silver font.
We only have a couple hours left before we’ll see if these leaks are true, though it seems all but confirmed. We’ll just have to see the Super Mario Bros. movie trailer play out during the Nintendo Direct this afternoon.
