For years now we’ve been calling the upcoming Illumination-produced Super Mario movie the “Mario Movie” but it sounds like those days may finally be at an end.
As reported by an Out of Context Despicable Me Twitter account, the name “Super Mario Bros.” is listed on Illumination Studios Paris’ official website.

The Mario movie, now potentially known as Super Mario Bros., is expected to arrive sometime in 2023.
