It’s rare that we report on logistical news but as we approach the holidays, slowly but surely, it is no doubt a major point of concern for most companies. Nintendo is no exception, and it’s announced a new method of making things more efficient via Nikkei.

The key announcement is the reduction of the Switch console box’s size by 20%, which aims to make transport more efficient and lead to more supply for the holidays. As a result there will also be 15% fewer packaging materials.

We’ll just have to wait and see as and when these smaller boxes hit store shelves!
