Celebrate summer in style in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp! The mobile game’s monthly set of events has restarted yet again and features tropical and seaside-themed furniture and clothing rewards.
Nintendo released an overview on their site detailing what’s on the calendar for August 2022 last week. For longtime players, yes, that means another round of the three major events: Garden Event, Fishing Tourney, and Scavenger Hunt. We’ll also see some smaller, goal-based events sprinkled throughout too. The big change here is who is hosting this month’s festivities. Isabelle is taking the month off and she’s handing the hosting duties over to Orville, one-half of Dodo Airlines’ crew.
Seasonal Event: Orville’s Island Resort
Collect plumeria conch shells by participating in various events around the campsite, and you could earn the following items: resort canopy bed, resort globe lamp, and plumeria sunglasses.
Garden Event: Orville’s Tropical Festival
Plant island hibiscus in your campsite’s garden, and hermit crabs will gather once these plants bloom! Collect these creatures and bring them to Orville. You could earn rewards like: tropical concert torch, patio chair with ukulele, and tropical steel guitar.
Scavenger Hunt: BazaarScavenger Hunt
Collect bazaar gyroidite in this month’s Scavenger Hunt to earn the following items: bazaar decor stand, bazaar pottery stand, and Moroccan lantern.
Fishing Tourney (Oasis Patio)
You can earn a potted sago palm, summer patio tile rug, summer patio signpost, and more when you catch special tourney fish like the blackspot tuskfish.
Happy Homeroom: New Event Classes for August
Use the items you’ve collected this month to practice your interior design skills in two new sets of Happy Homeroom event classes: Summer Plaza and Moroccan Bazaar. Lottie and friends will grade your designs. If you pass a class, you’ll get HH Material and HH Medals. Earn enough medals and your HH Rank will go up!
Look forward to more furniture and clothing collection releases (and rereleases) throughout the month! Right now, you can dress up your Camp Manager with pieces from the Stylish Resort Collection and build your own waterfront beach resort with items from Soleil’s Vacation Cookie. Save up those Leaf Tickets too, because Orville’s Special Furniture will be available later this week – allowing this dodo brother to hang out at your campsite!
