A chilling presence is entering the battlefield today. The beloved Ice-type Eeveeluiton Glaceon is now available in Pokémon Unite for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. To celebrate the first character launch part of Pokémon Unite’s upcoming content roadmap and Battle Pass 9, a new spotlight for Sylveon showcasing the Pokémon in action can be viewed below.
Like the previous Psychic-type and Fairy-type Eeveelutions, Espeon and Sylveon, the Fresh Snow Pokémon falls under the ranged attacker class in Unite. To unlock Glaceon, players must complete various in-game missions to gain the character’s Unite License.
This year, Pokémon Unite is celebrating its one-year anniversary with free exclusive cosmetics, licenses, and item packs. Glaceon is part of Pokémon Unite’s first wave of new celebration characters. Buzzwole and Tyranitar are set to enter the arena this August, along with three more unannounced Pokémon releasing at a later date. In addition to the new playable characters, a boss rush mode will also be added to the game.
