Recently Sega of Japan confirmed a follow-up to its Sega Mega Drive Mini, incorporating games from the Mega CD. Now it’s finally been confirmed for a western release!
The Sega Genesis Mini 2 will contain over 50 games including one never-before-released title. Its design will be based on the Genesis Model 2 and will feature the six-button pad as standard.
As for the included games, you can expect Sonic CD, Shining Force CD, Sonic 3D Blast, Alien Soldier, Bonanza Bros. and many more besides, including several which have yet to be revealed.
The Sega Genesis Mini 2 will blast into North America on October 27th, 2022 exclusively via Amazon.
