The DioField Chronicle, Square Enix’s upcoming strategy RPG that was announced for Switch earlier this year, was spotlighted in a Japanese stream over the weekend.
For starters we got a good look at the gameplay which you can catch at the 9:45 mark below:
If that’s got you intrigued then you’re in luck, too, as both a release date and demo were confirmed for the game.
The DioField Chronicle will launch for Switch in Japan on September 22nd while the demo containing the first full chapter with save transfer will arrive earlier on August 10th. While a western release date has yet to be confirmed, it wouldn’t be too shocking if it was the same. We’ll be sure to bring you news as and when it’s announced.
