While the classic RPG port Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II launched for the Switch last week, those who want to play through the full intended experience might want to wait on the free post-launch Restored Content DLC.
Aspyr has confirmed that the DLC will arrive in Q3, 2022, and has detailed what it will contain.
Numerous changes go into effect throughout the game, such as additional quests, conversations, and fights, while an all-new mission starring the iconic HK-47 will also be playable. The ending level is also revamped, featuring more party interactions and an added focus on your past choices throughout the game.
It’s worth noting that current save files won’t be compatible when the DLC is activated, though it will be a toggleable option allowing you to continue your previous adventure.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords is available to purchase now via the eShop and its free post-launch DLC will arrive in Q3, 2022.
