As they’ve done with previous, online-focused releases, Nintendo have announced a free demo for Mario Strikers: Battle League! Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can head over to the eShop and download the Mario Strikers: Battle League First Kick right now. This’ll grant them access to an introductory tutorial to the game, but it’s next weekend that’s really going to get people pumped.

Like the Splatoon 2 Testfire or ARMS Test Punch, the Mario Strikers First Kick will have a few windows where servers will be live and online play will be enabled. At the following times, both Versus Everyone and Join Friends options will be available:

    Friday, June 3

  • 8:00-9:00 p.m. PT
  • Saturday, June 4

  • 4:00-5:00 a.m. PT
  • 12:00-1:00 p.m. PT
  • 8:00-9:00 p.m. PT
  • Sunday, June 5

  • 4:00-5:00 a.m. PT
  • 12:00-1:00 p.m. PT

You’ll be able to form teams of up to four players across two Switch systems (a max of two players each) in order to take on the competition together and get a taste of what Battle League is all about ahead of its June 10th release.
