According to developer Hello Games, No Man’s Sky is still on track to land this summer on Nintendo Switch — in fact, the title could be coming even sooner than anticipated as the game is seemingly in its final stages of development.

While audiences have not been informed about the port’s development in quite some time, a new press release from Hello Games detailing No Man’s Sky’s upcoming Leviathan Expedition expansion had the following to say about the upcoming Switch release:

“In the background, the rest of our small team have been hard at work putting the finishing touches to, among other things, the Nintendo Switch version and some large upcoming updates.”

Previously, No Man’s Sky was announced for Switch during February’s Nintendo Direct broadcast. Plenty of gameplay for the title was shown off during the presentation, however, no concrete release date was provided at the showing.

No Man’s Sky is still set to release sometime this summer. When more news about the Switch port of the title is available from Hello Games, we’ll be sure to let you all know!
