Life imitates art (which is to say, depositing Pokémon in and out of PCs) more each day: Pokémon HOME will be updating soon to Ver 2.0, which will add two-way transfer compatibility for Brilliant Diamond, Shining Pearl, and Legends: Arceus. These games will join Sword/Shield and the one-way transfer support for Let’s Go, GO, and Pokémon Bank.
The #PokemonHOME update you’ve been waiting for is almost here, Trainers! 🏠
You'll soon be able to link Pokémon HOME with #PokemonBrilliantDiamond, #PokemonShiningPearl, and #PokemonLegendsArceus. 👀

This finally makes the HOME ecosystem healthy and layered, as it’s no longer a straight one way funnel into Sword/Shield. Do keep in mind that your Pokémon’s movesets, levels, and even Poké Ball type may change depending on where you transfer them to and from (particularly in the case of Arceus, whose systems are quite different from the other “mainline” games). HOME is also adding a National Pokédex to help you catalog which ‘mons you have in total.
When you transfer Pokémon from a certain game to HOME for the first time, you’ll receive new Pokémon as a gift. BDSP will gift you Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup with hidden abilities; while Legends will grant you Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott with max EVs. Both can be obtained via Mystery Gift. Happy transferring, Trainers!
