Anybody remember the Pokémon World Tournament in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2? Where all the old Trainers from previous games showed up and you got to fight them? It was dope. It’s not the first or last time the series had battles against past Trainer legends, but it was the sickest. And now the Pokémon anime is following in the grand tradition of Shounen everywhere by hosting a tournament of champions for all of its big winners throughout history.
